What To Bring To A Nudist Facility
Teksto dydis: +1, +2, normalus.Gee, what a concept! I didn't think about it until I was getting ready to go. What does one take to a Nudist Facility? I obviously wasn't going to need changes of pants, shirts, underwear, socks, or shoes. So what did I need? Well, here's some things I discovered after I got there:
Clothing - Keep it simple and use common sense. Nudists may be nude, but they generally aren't nude to fanatical lengths. You don't need clothing per se, but you do need to keep the weather and activities in mind. Check the weather report before you go. If it's going to be chilly, bring a jacket or a zipper-front parka, maybe even sweat shorts or pants. During the day, if it's supposed to be sunny, bring maybe a hat and lots of suntan lotion. If it's supposed to rain and you don't like getting wet, bring an umbrella or a raincoat. If you are going outside, especially traipsing around the woods, you will need shoes or maybe sandals.
Towels - bring a few for each day. You'll need them to sit/lay on and to dry off. (pool, hot tub, rain, shower, etc.) Make sure you bring enough and they're adequate to do the job. Quality (plush) beach towels seem to do the best for most things.
Food - This item depends on where you are going. Since my first trip was to White Tail Park, which is basically a campground, I should have thought more about food. They have a wonderful full-service snack bar which serves breakfast and fast food-type dinner and supper but it does have strict hours. If you miss a meal when it's open, you're pretty much out of luck. I'm also talking about the "extras" like beverages and snacks. A midnight raid to the fridge is out of the question if you didn't bring it yourself. If you smoke, bring your own cigarettes, there may or may not be any available to purchase there.
Personal Items - You still need those (guy stuff for guys and girl stuff for girls) although take it easy on the after shave or perfume. Bugs like that stuff. Which reminds me, bring bug repellent. Preferably something that doesn't smell like a hold over from the Marines.
Money - It depends on what you're planning. If you are going to eat all your meals in the snack bar and purchase things (soda and snacks) from vending machines, bring some. Your major expenses, room and day fees, can usually be paid with a credit card but there's no place to put them in the machines. In fact, make sure if you plan on using the machines that you bring one-dollar bills and coins. If there's a fee for an activity, that usually has to be in cash too.
Miscellaneous - What do you plan on having with you? You usually don't think about it in the "textile" world, you have pockets or your purse. God is good but he didn't include pockets as part of the human body. So, what do you use? If you are going to carry around a bunch of stuff or carry things for numerous people, bring a small back pack. If it's just you, maybe a "fanny pack" (or less) is enough for your "stuff." If you must carry a cell phone or pager (electronic leashes) make sure you have something to either hook them to or put them in.
I can't think of anything else of the top of my head but if I do, I'll add it.
