How to Hump a Pillow: Step by Step

This works whatever body you’re bringing to it. Read it once, then stop thinking and let your hips do the job.
- Get worked up before you touch anything. Watch something, read something, run your hands over your chest and thighs and stomach. Turn yourself on first so you’re already aching by the time the pillow gets involved.
- Shape it and slide it under your hips. Fold or bunch the pillow into a firm ridge, lie face-down, and settle it under your hips so your weight presses into it.
- Ease in slowly. The classic mistake is going hard from the first second. Start with a soft press and a small roll, and feel where the pressure lands.
- Roll, don’t hammer. This is the bit nobody mentions. It’s a smooth, circular grind, hips winding forward and down, not a frantic jackhammer. Grinding, not pounding. That rolling motion is why it feels good and why you can keep going.
- Find the angle. Shift a few degrees, tilt your hips, nudge the pillow up or down an inch. There’s a spot where it suddenly clicks and your whole body agrees with you. You’ll know it when you hit it.
- Lean in gradually. Once the motion and the angle are working, put more weight into it. Grind harder, back off, grind harder again. Play.
- Breathe. Slow breaths keep you from tipping over too soon. Hold your breath and clench up and you’ll finish before you wanted to.
- Ride the edge. Build until you’re nearly there, then slow the grind or lift your hips off for a second and let it fade. Then build it again. This is where a quick wank turns into something that scrambles your brain.
- Finish, or don’t. Grind all the way through when you’re done teasing, or pull your hips back one last time and just sit in that leaky, throbbing ache. Neither is wrong.
That’s the frame. The specifics change depending on what you’re working with, so let’s get into it.
